Almond Toffee Crunch Bars
Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups sliced or chopped almonds (lightly toasted)
1 sleeve graham crackers (or about 10–12 sheets)
Instructions
Prep the pan
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange graham crackers in a single layer (edge to edge).
Make the toffee
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, sugar, and water. Stir constantly until it reaches a deep golden color (about 8–10 minutes). It should be bubbling and smooth.
Finish the toffee
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Immediately pour evenly over the graham crackers.
Add almonds
Sprinkle toasted almonds over the hot toffee and gently press them in.
Cool & set
Let it cool completely at room temp (or pop in the fridge for faster setting).
Break into bars
Once hardened, break or cut into rustic bars or pieces.
